Kwaku Nyankomago, 32, is being held by police after allegedly assaulting his biological father.
The suspect allegedly attacked the victim with a cutlass at Assin Tomfokor in the Central Region’s Assin South District.
Details emerging indicate that the suspect is mentally challenged.
He is said to have suffered an episode and inflicted severe cutlass wounds on his father, Daniel Nsowah.
Without provocation, the suspect severed his father’s left hand, foot, and ear.
The victim also had multiple deep cuts on the head, neck, shoulder, elbow, and ear in the process.
