The Ghana Police Service says it has arrested the man who identified himself as Dr. Patrick Asiedu who alleged that some police officers planted narcotics in his vehicle.
The Police had earlier issued a statement disclosing that it had not found the said doctor.
The Police in its latest statement disclosed that Patrick Asiedu made false claims against the Police.
It went on to state that the said fight between the Military and the Police alleged by the said Asiedu was fabricated.
The Police said the suspect revealed to them that he had witnessed a similar situation to one of his passengers.
Investigations the Police added were still ongoing and the suspect would be prosecuted.
