President Akufo-Addo has appointed K.T Hammond, the MP for Adansi Asokwa, the Minister-designate for the Ministry of Trade and Industry.
His nomination follows the resignation of Alan Kwadwo Kyerematen from the position.
This was announced by the Speaker of Parliament Alban Bagbin when the House resumed today, Tuesday, February 7, 2023.
Bryan Axheampong has also been nominated as the Minister-designate for the Afric Ministry following the resignation of Dr. Owusu Afriyie Akoto.
Mr. Stephen Asamoah Boateng has also been nominated as the Minister-designate for the Ministry of Chieftaincy and Religious Affairs.
Other appointments the President has made are as follows;
Hon Mohammed Anim Adam – Minister of State in the Finance ministry
Hon Osei Bonsu Amoah – Minister for Local Government
Hon Herbert Krapah – Deputy Minister for Energy
Hon Dr Stephen Amoah – Deputy Minister for Trade and Industry
