The Social Security and National Insurance Trust’s management has denied claims that its Cape Coast branch was closed due to debts owed to the Cape Coast Metropolitan Assembly.
According to the statement, SSNIT’s Cape Coast Office is still open for business.
It stated that the Trust owes nothing to the Assembly and that attempts by officers to temporarily lock down the office, disrupting business, were unfortunate.
According to the statement, contributors, pensioners, and the general public can access services at all of their offices, including the Cape Coast branch, as well as through digital platforms.
