President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo left Accra on Thursday (16 February) for Germany, where he will attend this year’s Munich Security Conference from 17 to 19 February.
The visit is at the invitation of Ambassador Dr Christoph Heusgen, Chairman of the Munich Security Conference.
On Friday, Akufo-Addo will depart Munich for Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, to lead Ghana’s delegation to the 36th Ordinary Session of the African Union Assembly of Heads of State.
President Akufo-Addo will return to Ghana on Sunday (19 February). In his absence, Vice President Dr Mahamudu Bawumia will assume the presidency.
