The opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) has asked parliament’s Minority Caucus not to approve any of President Akufo-newly Addo’s appointed Minister-designates.
According to a statement issued by General Secretary Fiifi Kwetey, the party has consistently urged the President to reduce the size of his appointees in light of our challenges.
However, he has refused, instead increasing the number with recent appointments.
As a result, the NDC has asked caucus MPs not to approve the newly appointed ministers and to push for a further reduction in the current number of ministers.
