The farmers are either into cocoa, cassava, plantain, and cocoyam.

Salifu Krom is a farming community in the Oti Region under Nkwanta South Municipality.

One of the major issues raised by the chief was a lack of fertilizers.

The chief urged authorities to prioritize agriculture and support farmers, particularly those in his community, in order for them to produce high yields.

The chief went on to say that if the government wants the youth to work in agriculture, it must take steps to provide incentives.
