Hon. Lydia Seyram Alhassan (Maa Lydia), Member of Parliament for Ayawaso West Wougon, couldn’t help but stop by for a clean-up exercise organised by Rainbow Radio Fun Club.
The MP was on a float within her constituency when she noticed the team cleaning up the filth.
Her attention was immediately drawn to the event, and she ordered the halt of her convoy.
Her supporters did not move an inch until she held the brooms to sweep and the shovel to distil the gutters.
Chairman of the Rainbow Radio Fun Club, George Asare a.k.a Obaapa Papa, would not hide his joy for what he saw.
What more would trigger his excitement, the CEO of Rainbow Radio International Accra/London, Dr. Mac Amoah, graced the event together with employees of the firm in attendance.
Being the first of its kind, Obaapa Papa made known the clear-up exercise would be taken to sister communities to champagne the cause for cleaner places of abode.
