The Tuesday morning downpour is said to have killed two minors in Bortianor, an Accra suburb.
According to Rainbow Radio’s Kwabena Agyekum Banahene on Nyankonton Mu Nsem on Rainbow Radio 87.5, the incident has left the family in shock and pain.
He revealed that the area is muddy, and that when the rains began, the room in which they were sleeping flooded, resulting in their untimely death.
He stated that the two were 11 and 7 years old.
According to him, the children were sound asleep at the time of the incident, and the mother, a trader, was not present.
The matter is currently being investigated by the police, and the bodies have been deposited at the morgue awaiting autopsy.
