Adwoa Attaa (Kakra), a 15-year-old pregnant girl, was discovered dead in a bush with her head severed in Assin Nseni, a community in the Assin South District of the Central region.
Mr. Joseph Yankson, the 15-year-old girl’s grandfather, told the press that his granddaughter, a form one student, abruptly dropped out of school but later discovered she was pregnant with his friend’s son.
Mr. Yankson confirmed that the deceased, Adwoa Attaa (Kakra), was three months pregnant when she went missing on March 8, 2023, and that all efforts to find her were futile.
He explained the bizarre circumstances surrounding the discovery of his granddaughter’s lifeless body, and how her head was cut and placed near the body, but the skin was peeled off, and her pants were also removed, and he suspects her private part was also touched.
The body has thus been deposited at Cape Coast Teaching Hospital by the police pending investigation and autopsy.
Meanwhile, the family is demanding justice for the death of their daughter.
According to them, her death is gruesome, inhumane and unfortunate.
To them, whoever allegedly killed the minor must be punished severely since the person did not only kill the girl but her unborn baby.
