She revealed that four of the total number were final-year students, with the remaining students continuing their studies.

She revealed some of the students had told her that they had gone for scanning, and it was disclosed to them that they would give birth to twins.

“There are 15 pregnant young girls. Some of them have told me that they intend to have twins. I am pleading with their parents to register their pregnant final-year students. Two of them would complete their exams before giving birth.

I would advise students in Forms 1 and 2 not to drop out of school. They should go back to school. They should not return home because they are pregnant. We have not expelled them. “They should return to school.”

To the parents of the affected students, she advised them against frustrating them in the bid to have them abort the pregnancies.

“Do not frustrate them. Accept them if they did not abort the pregnancies. Take good care of them. It is normal for pregnant women to return to school after giving birth. Some of them are extremely bright, so let them continue to learn so that when they return to school, they can keep up with the others,” she added.
