Three people suspected of being members of a robbery syndicate were burned to death at Moseaso in the Wasa Amenfi West Municipality of the Western Region.
Four of the members were apprehended by an angry mob in the area, but one escaped, leaving the other three to their fate.
They were allegedly assaulted and eventually set ablaze by an enraged mob who complained bitterly about continuous attacks by armed robbers.
Gabby, the reporter, revealed on Nyankonton Mu Nsem on Rainbow Radio 87.5Fm that the suspected robbers attacked gold traders but luck eluded them and they were chased, but one managed to flee.
He stated that the gold dealers and miners in the area were upset because they were constantly attacked, and as a result, they had planned to attack such individuals.
During their operation, the suspended ribbers wore face masks, he added.
The bodies of the burned robbers have been deposited at the mortuary, but no arrests have been made.
