The Ghana Education Service (GES) has placed the headmaster of Fijai Senior High School on suspension.
The GES stated in a statement that the headmaster’s suspension is effective immediately.
According to the statement, Mr. Kenneth Agbomadze, the headmaster, was arrested for allegedly charging “illegal fees.”
He has been asked to hand over administration of the Western Regional Directorate of Education’s school.
The committee looking into the situation has been given two weeks to deliver its report.
