Madam Dorcas Affo-Toffey, Member of Parliament for Jomoro Constituency, has made a donation to the Muslim population in her constituency.
Her giving is part of her contribution to the community to help them celebrate Eid-Fitr this year.
She provided 50 bags of rice, carton
s of oil, and an unspecified amount of money.
She prayed for the Muslims and asked that the current moon be their guiding light and strength, filling our lives with peace and grace.
She took to her Facebook page and wrote;

I, Hon Dorcas Affo-Toffey, the MP for Jomoro Constituency in the Western Region, made a donation of 50 bags of rice , cash and boxes of cooking oil to the Muslim community ;Thursday, April 20, 2023. This is to support our Muslim community as they observe the celebration of Eid-al-Fitr which marks the end of Ramadan.
The Deputy Chief Iman of Jomoro Municipality at Tikobo Number One Mosque, received these items of behalf of the people.
May the crescent moon be our guiding light and strength, fill our life, peace and grace.
