Former deputy general secretary of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) has said that for former President John Dramani Mahama to be sworn in for the third time would be a curse.
He claimed that the Constitution only gives people two chances to be sworn in as president.
Mr. Anyidoho argued that Mr. Mahama had sworn twice as president and that allowing him to do so again would be a curse on the nation.
He referred to Mahama’s inauguration following the death of late Mills, as well as his triumph in 2012.
He advised him to follow in the footsteps of the late Rawlings and former President John Agyekum Kufour and to walk away.
“Ghana does not belong to John Mahama so he can’t pursue his selfish agenda at the expense of the country.
He can continue to be the Permanent Flagbearer (PF) of the NDC but he CANNOT become President of Ghana again.”

Why does John Mahama think he will be sworn-in for the third time, against the Spirit of the Constitution of Ghana 🇬🇭?
John Mahama was sworn-in as President on July 24, 2012, & January 7, 2013.
He thinks he can abuse the Spirit of the Constitution and the Soul of the Mother Ghana 🇬🇭?
The Constitution says you can be President two times and no more.
Rawlings swore the Presidential oath 2 times and stepped aside.
Kuffuor swore the Presidential oath 2 times and stepped aside.
Akufo-Addo has sworn the Presidential Oath 2 times and will step aside.
Why is John Mahama not accepting that he has sworn the Presidential oath 2 times and CANNOT swear the oath for the third time?
Why? Why? Why?
This level of greed and selfishness is unacceptable.
Ghana 🇬🇭 does not belong to John Mahama so he can’t pursue his selfish agenda at the expense of the country.
He can continue to be the Permanent Flagbearer (PF) of the NDC but he CANNOT become President of Ghana 🇬🇭 again .
