The High Court in Accra has deferred the sentencing of En Huang also known as Aisha Huang.
The court deferred the sentencing until trial for all charges levelled against her is completed.
She has pleaded guilty to the charge of entering Ghana unlawfully out of the about four charges levelled against her.
The court convicted her after she changed her plea from not guilty in the immigration offence she is facing at the High Court to guilty.
However, the court deferred the sentencing until the conclusion of the case against her is completed.
The Chinese national had pleaded not guilty to four counts of undertaking a mining operation without license, facilitating the participation of persons engaged in a mining operation, the illegal employment of foreigners and entering Ghana while she had been prohibited from entry.
Currently, her plea to counts on illegal mining remain not guilty.
The accused changed her plea with respect to the immigration offence, after the testimony of the eleventh witness.
