President Akufo-Addo has held bilateral talks with His Excellency Justin Trudeau, Prime Minister of the Government of Canada.
The two leaders met in London, where the President is currently.
The two leaders discussed issues such as increasing Ghana-Canada cooperation and friendship.
In a brief post on Facebook, the President wrote “On Sunday, 7th May 2023, I held bilateral discussions with the Prime Minister of the Government of Canada, His Excellency Justin Trudeau, in London.
Our talks centered on strengthening the ties of co-operation and bonds of friendship between Ghana and Canada.”
President Akufo-Addo and his wife, Rebecca Akufo-Addo as well as Asantehene Otumfuo Osei Tutu II were guests at King Charles’ coronation in London.
They attended the coronation of King Charles III at Westminster Abbey.
