A six-storey building under construction at the University for Development Studies, City Campus in Sagnarigu has collapsed.
Rainbow Radio’s Prince Kwame Tamakloe reported that the collapse occurred after a rainstorm on Saturday night.
No casualties were recorded, he said.
He also indicated that security guards manning the campus refused to allow journalists access to the scene of the incident.
Meanwhile, Director of Communications at the University for Development Studies, Abdul Hayi Moomen, told GBC News in an interview that, “investigations will be conducted into the matter to determine the cause of the collapse.”
