Five construction workers were critically injured and fighting for their lives after a three-story church building collapsed this morning.
Efforts were also being made to recover any bodies that may have been trapped beneath the three-story church building in Bortianor, in the Greater Accra Region.
On Tuesday, May 9, the building collapsed.
There are fears that some church members were present when the disaster occurred.
The Ghana Police Service has been spotted at the scene, and reinforcements have been requested from the Ghana National Fire Service and the National Disaster Management Organisation (NADMO).
