Campaign spokesperson of former President John Dramani Mahama, Joyce Bawa Mogtari has refuted media reports that the convoy of the former president was involved in accident.
In a statement, she revealed that there was involving a regional team that was traveling to the Yapei constituency, ahead of the John Mahama campaign team convoy.
According to her, Mr. Mahama stopped to assist those who were involved in the accident.
“John Mahama stopped to assist the accident victims, who have been transported to the hospital for treatment.
We are unable to confirm the identities of those who were injured,” it added.
