The governing New Patriotic Party (NPP) has announced the start of nominations for its presidential primary contest.
According to the party, the nomination period will commence on Friday, May 26, 2023.
The NPP announced in a statement that nominations would conclude on Saturday, June 24, 2023.
The party stated that it would hold its special electoral college elections (if any) on Saturday, August 26, 2023.
The National Congress is scheduled for November 4, 2023.
Those interested in picking up nomination forms must do so at the party’s General Secretary’s office.
The non-refundable charge for the forms has been set by the party at Ghc50,000.
