A woman has died as a result of a boat accident in the Bono Region’s Bongase.
Sixty-eight others, including a boat operator, have been rescued.
The tragedy occurred when the boat in which they were being transported capsized.
Rainbowradioonline.com learned that a local search party is still searching for the one remaining casualty in the waters.
According to reports, a local engine boat carrying 70 passengers from a galamsey base in the area was headed to Bongase, near Nsuano.
The boat, however, was unable to reach its destination after colliding with a tump and sinking with all 70 passengers on board.
