Beginning today, May 29, 2023, the Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG) is embarking on a revenue mobilisation exercise.
The exercise which is set to end on June 2, 2023, will focus on all categories of customers including state-owned enterprises.
According to the ECG, the exercise would be monitored by special teams who will apprehend and prosecute customers who interfere with the exercise or undertake illegal self-reconnection after disconnection.
It said the ECG will maintain a lean staff pool in their various offices who will provide essential services to customers.
However, all customer service centres remain open, it added.
The ECG also advised customers to pay their bills to avoid disconnection.
