The nomination forms picked for Vice President Dr Mahamudu Bawumia have been officially handed over to him.
Former NPP Vice Chairman Fred Oware and former National Organiser Sammy Awuku picked the forms on his behalf.
They did not talk to the media after picking up the forms at the NPP’s National Headquarters today, Tuesday, May 30, 2023.
Dr. Bawumia on Monday informed New Patriotic Party (NPP) supporters in the Volta Region that he would contest the primary.
Addressing NPP supporters during an informal meeting in Hohoe over the weekend, Dr. Bawumia said “I want you to know that I appreciate your support. We are going to break the 8. First of all, we are going to file for the flagbearership which I’m going to do, win the flagbearership, break the 8, and go to Jubilee House. That is what I’m going to do,” he noted
