Madam Affo-Toffey received 1,574 votes to be the retained candidate for the 2024 election, whereas Mr. Ackatia Kwaido, who was running for the seat for the third time, received 175 votes.

The constituency executives and other supporters of both candidates, Madam Affo-Toffey and Mr. Ackatia Kwaido, attended the gathering.

Following the discussion, Mr. Ackatia Kwaido declared his willingness to assist Jomoro in retaining the seat in the 2024 election.

He noted that such situations are expected in an internal competition, but it is beneficial when contenders work together to achieve success.

Madam Affo-Toffey said that the move was made to assure success in the 2024 election. She claims that without unity, the party will fail to win the 2024 election.

Madam Affo-Toffey committed to working with everyone to keep the seat in the 2024 election.
