A public relations specialist, Smart Kwaku Takyi Nixon, has expressed concern at what he calls the terrible condition for young people, particularly those running enterprises.
Despite our leaders’ pledges, he believes the country is not improving.
He stated that it has gotten increasingly difficult to plan since your plans may be influenced by system obstacles and difficulties.
In a Facebook post, he disclosed that some of his childhood buddies have all moved abroad in quest of greener pastures.
The communication specialist also bemoaned the high cost of tariffs and how it is affecting businesses and Ghanaians in general.
“Half of my friends who grew up with me have left the country. We keep pretending that all is well but it isn’t. Just last week after the increment in tariffs, what used to last us for 7 days lasted just three days. We can’t be overlooking these things and just be hoping that it will get better.
The worse of it is, when you send invoices to clients they don’t want to engage anymore.
This is not their fault because they are also feeling the pressure in their various sectors.”

Guys I don’t think the country is giving any young man hope. As young entrepreneurs when we meet the only thing we discuss is how difficult it is to plan in this country.
There is no budget you come up with that works fine in two or three weeks. This is the only country where it is so difficult to plan. You will draft a whole plan but the country will plan a new plan for you.

What at all did we do wrong? Ghana is way better than what we are experiencing right now. Almost everyone is battling with uncertainties in business and employment. The news items sound like a threat every morning so I’ve even stopped listening to the radio these days.
Where did we go wrong? What did we do wrong?
