Due to air pollution caused by intense wildfires in Canada, millions of people across North America are being advised to wear high-quality masks outdoors.
According to reports, flights have been grounded and delayed at several major US airports due to low visibility caused by wildfire smoke.
According to Canadian officials, nearly 100 million people in the United States and Canada are currently exposed to extremely poor air quality.
The majority of the smoke is coming from Quebec, where there are 155 fires burning.
Hundreds of American firefighters have been dispatched to Canada to assist local firefighters in fighting the fires.
Due to the wildfires, approximately 20,000 people have been forced to flee their homes.
About 11,400 of them live in remote areas of northern Quebec.
Another 4,000 people are expected to evacuate soon as the fires spread.
