Three children were burnt to death at Huu in the Ashanti Region’s Amansie Central District.
Rainbow Radio has learned that the three were students at a local elementary school.
According to new information, the international basic school (Beginners Education Complex/was bringing pupils home when the bus broke down.
While working on the bus, a 207 car stopped near the school and dropped off some people.
The 207 bus attempted to move when the school owner asked the driver to convey the pupils to their destination because the school bus had been damaged.
However, the 207 bus caught fire when the students were onboard.
Three of the pupils were allegedly burned to death and beyond recognition.
Another person was also seriously injured.
Some containers, including one containing a mobile money service provider, were set on fire.
Residents have been devastated by the occurrence.
Because the fire destroyed the electric system, the area was also left in the dark.
Some of the parents are said to be traumatised by the situation and walling.
The scenario also had an impact on the telecommunications system, making calls and sending texts difficult.
