The non-governmental; organisation championing a campaign to end the lack of decent toilets, and urinals and mobilise resources to provide potable water facilities in our schools said the Minister has demonstrated that he was concerned about the environment.
On the occasion of Father’s Day, which was celebrated on June 18, 2023, the NGO stated that the MP has contributed to initiatives that promote environmental sustainability, particularly in an era of environmental destruction by some individuals.
”#HappyFathersDay Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh, we at Africa Schools Sanitation Foundation Africa Schools Sanitation TV believe Ghanaian #children #pupils #students will appreciate your care, concern and love for the environment in this era of wanton destruction of the environment.”
As part of efforts to address the lack of decent toilets, urinals and potable water facilities in our schools, Africa Schools Sanitation Foundation, the NGO launched a campaign to mobilise resources to build decent toilet facilities and rehabilitate dilapidated ones in deprived schools across the country.

It has recently launched the latest project, one school, one hand washing basin, to promote handwashing in our schools, particularly those in low-income areas.
Mr. Kwame Tutu, a renowned Ghanaian broadcaster and the foundation’s founder, says his organisation singled out the former Education Minister because he has consistently remained committed to environmental protection.
