Two individuals in connection with the alleged murder of Lance Corporal Calystus Amoah have been remanded into Police custody.
The two have been charged with conspiracy to commit murder and murder.
According to police sources, the two, Benjamin Ojogbe and Rashid Abdul, were part of a group of armed thieves that allegedly ambushed a bullion truck at the Ablekuma Fanmilk Star Oil Filling Station.
The Police officer died as a result of the incident.
The two accused were arraigned at Kansehie District Court on Monday, July 3, but their pleas were not taken.
According to the facts provided to the court, the robbers fled with about GH145,000.
Since then, authorities have been on the lookout for the remaining suspects.
