A young boy named Emmanuel Ghyabah Junior is fighting for his life after being beaten to a pulp for allegedly stealing a goat.
According to Mr. Emmanuel Gyabah, the boy’s father, his son, Emmanuel Gyabah Junior, is suffering from a high fever and was in the room but had no idea his son had stepped out.
He claimed he was at home when he received a phone call from a friend in Kato informing him that his son was being lynched by an enraged mob for stealing a goat.
According to the father, he had to rush to the scene in tears and screams to inform those who attacked his son that he was not a thief but was being treated for a high fever.
It took several attempts for the attackers to abandon the victim, who was later rushed to the hospital for medical treatment.
He is currently receiving medical treatment at the Berekum holy family hospital.
