Following the victory of James Gyakye Quayson in the by-election and his election as the Member of Parliament, the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) will start a thank-you tour in the Assin North constituency on Friday, July 7, 2023.
At 1:00 PM, Muslim prayers will be said at Breku Central Mosque before the tour starts.
On July 8, 2023, the party will hold thanksgiving services at SDA Church in Breku at noon and the SDA Church in Breku at 11:00 am.
At 1:00 PM, the party will start their visitation at Assin Dansame.
Then, at Assin Breku, a football Gala would start at three o’clock.
On Sunday, July 9, 2023, from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., there will be a non-denominational Thanksgiving service at the Breku Catholic Youth Centre.
The tour would climax with a rally at Breku Methodist School Park.
John Dramani Mahama, the party’s presidential candidate, would be the rally’s Special Guest of honour.
Party executives from the national, regional, and constituency levels will attend.
