A 7-year-old girl was injured after a misunderstanding between Mr. Duah Patrick, Assemblyman of Amanfoso in the Tain district of the Bono region, and a driver.
According to the details of the incident, the Assemblyman threw a mobile at the driver while they were exchanging insults.
Unfortunately, the phone struck the seven-year-old in the mouth, causing one of her teeth to fall out.
According to reports, the Assemblyman accused the driver of hitting him with his car.
The driver, on the other hand, denied the charge, sparking an argument.
During the process, the assemblyman allegedly threw his phone at the driver but missed.
When the incident occurred, the minor was returning from a church service with her mother.
The victim was taken to the hospital for treatment, but the family was asked to pay Ghc5,000 as a treatment fee.
The Assemblyman, who was arrested and later released on bail, is said to have ignored the family and expressed no interest in covering the cost of treatment.
The case is currently in court.
