The Police in the Upper West region have arrested three students from the Wa Technical Institute in the Wa municipality for allegedly attacking their housemaster.
The house master was allegedly attacked on Tuesday, July 25, 2023.
The students were arrested after the school authorities filed a formal complaint.
The housemaster sustained severe injuries and was rushed to the Wa Municipal Hospital for urgent medical treatment.
Details emerging indicate that the house master, Ishmail Musah Froko, was attacked while on a routine monitoring visit at the house two blocks from the Wa Technical Institute.
A student was arrested for assaulting the housemaster, while two others were apprehended for assaulting a student who intervened to rescue the victim.
