The Adisadel College student who was attacked by another student and suspended by the school has been recalled.
Dr. Clement Apaak, Member of Parliament for Builsa South and Ranking Member of Parliament’s Education Committee, revealed this in a tweet.
He described the attack on the student as savage and barbaric.
He indicated that the suspension of the student who was attacked by the other student was ill-informed, and that the school’s administration erred in their decision.
He has, however, appreciated the decision to recall the student and provide him counselling.
He was confident that the student would recover from his ordeal.
His tweet read “Adisco – The victim of that act of barbaric violence in the viral video, which caused a national uproar, rightly so, has been recalled back to school and is receiving counselling. His suspension, which wasill-informed, has been reversed; the right thing to do. We wish him well.”
