The Coalition of Aggrieved Customers of Menzgold has requested that members refrain from negotiating any terms of payment with Nana Appiah Mensah, also known as NAM1.
According to the group’s spokesperson, Fredrick Forson, NAM 1 has failed on all of his payment plans and nothing he says should be taken seriously, Nyankonton Mu Nsem on Rainbow Radio 87.5Fm reported.
“Nobody should interact with him. The position
taken by the Coalition follows the new statement he issued over the weekend. We will want the government to arrest him.”
He emphasised that NAM 1’s assertion that the company had finished the transaction validation procedure and would shortly begin making payments to its customers was untrue.
In a statement over the weekend, the now-defunct gold trading company promised to pay its customers and claimed to have finished the process of validating their transactions.
“Following the gold trading transactions claims supporting documents collection and vetting exercise initiated; we are happy to announce that validation has successfully been completed,” Menzgold said in its statement.
But the spokespersons of the aggrieved customers responding said: “He issued a payment plan in 2019 and it expired in June of last year without people being paid.” NAM 1 is a joke. He’s doing anything he wants. He stated a corporation that did not have a name. Just be aware that the company he mentioned is his own.
As I speak with you, 206 members of the Coalition have died, and he claims to have completed the validation procedure. He is aware that what he is saying is false. He cannot be trusted. We are currently looking up to the government since we know NAM 1 has nothing to give. That is why we have requested his arrest.”
