A horrific car crash at Nkenkensu in the Offinso North District of the Ashanti Region has killed three passengers and left dozens in critical condition.
According to eyewitness Kofi Boakye, the gruesome accident occurred in the early hours of Wednesday, August 2, 2023, when a Techiman-bound KIA Grandbird with registration number AP-1986-22 collided with a Kumasi-bound caravan with registration number BF-2315-F103.
He went on to say that he could see dozens of what appeared to be lifeless bodies being transported to nearby hospitals by ambulances and other commercial vehicles.
He mentioned that the driver of the KIA bus was trapped in the car that had overturned following the fatal accident.
It is unclear how the accident occurred, but reports from the scene indicate that it caused a traffic jam.
