The Ghanaian expeditioners who are travelling by road from Ghana to the UK have expressed shock by the failure of businesses in Ghana and even the government to support their cause.
The group of bankers, real estate developers, technology experts, and others were surprised that no corporation indicated interest in the mission.
He claimed that despite flying the Ghanaian flag high on their journey, not even the Ministry of Tourism supported them.
One of the expeditioners, Saka Addo Mensah, stated that Ghanaians are not serious.
Ghana is not taking this seriously. We’ve driven 7,200 kilometres and are set to drive another 3000. We are proudly waving the Ghanaian flag. Nobody, not even Total Ghana, MTN, or CFAO, was interested in providing us with a pin. Even the Ministry of Tourism was not on our side.
