The Police Service is on a manhunt for suspected robbers who allegedly attacked two cargo cars at Anyinamso No. 1 in the Ashanti Region.
According to a brief statement issued by the Police, the incident led to the death of one person.
The suspected robbers reportedly escaped with GHC2,000 and three mobile phones.
The statement noted that the robbers escaped after the Police chanced on them during the attack.
It has assured the public that suspects will be arrested and prosecuted.

POLICE ON MANHUNT FOR ROBBERS WHO ATTACKED TWO CARGO VEHICLES AT ANYINAMSO NO. 1 IN THE ASHANTI REGION
The Police are on a manhunt to arrest some robbers who attacked two cargo vehicles at Anyinamso No. 1 in the Ashanti Region, leading to the death of one person.
The suspects managed to escape into a nearby bush with an amount of Two Thousand Ghana Cedis (GH₵ 2,000.00) and three mobile phones, when a Police patrol team chanced upon them during the attack.
We wish to assure the public that we will surely get the robbers arrested to face justice.
