Five of the accused in connection with the Cecilia Dapaah incident have been remanded in custody.
An Accra Circuit Court ordered the suspects to be held in custody.
Two other suspects, both breastfeeding moms, have been granted bail in the amount of GH1 million with three sureties to be justified.
Two housekeepers for the former Minister of Sanitation and Water Resources allegedly stole money and other valuables worth millions of Ghana Cedis from her Accra apartment.
The suspects are accused of stealing from the couple’s home in Abelemkpe, an Accra suburb in the Greater Accra Region.
Patience Botwe, 18, and Sarah Agyei, 30, are accused of stealing the couple’s money and personal effects between July and October 2022.
The father of the first accused person and her former boyfriends have also been dragged to court for their alleged involvement in the matter.
