The Special Prosecutor has frozen the accounts of former Minister of Sanitation and Water Resources, Cecilia Dapaah, in connection with the alleged theft of cash at her residence.
According to the report, the Office of the Special Prosecutor (OSP) has frozen the cedi and dollar accounts pending further investigation.
The OSP is believed to have filed a motion to confirm the confiscated money and frozen bank accounts that the office acquired from Madam Dapaah’s apartment.
Following the discovery that Madam Dapaah was keeping more than $1 million in her home, the OSP is investigating her for corruption and corruption-related offences.
