The Kumasi Technical University administration has reversed its decision to have over 600 students defer their courses due to fee payment problems.
The decision was made during an emergency meeting of the University’s Academic Board on Monday.
The school stated that it had chosen to reverse its previous decision due to the difficulties that the impacted children were experiencing.
In light of this, the school has decided to schedule special exams for them following the completion of the ongoing second-semester exams.
The statement issued by the school added that students who have paid their fees in full and appropriate penalties shall qualify to write the special examinations.
All affected students have been asked promptly get in touch with their respective heads of departments before Tuesday 22nd August 2023.
This was disclosed in a statement issued by Acting University Relations Officer of the Kumasi Technical University, Joshua Appiah.
