Former Energy Minister Boakye Agyarko has denied withdrawing from the upcoming run-off election against Addai Nimo.
The two were tied at the Superdelegates conference, forcing the party to hold a run-off between the two to determine who will join the four other candidates who have already reserved their spot for the presidential primary on November 4, 2023.
He was responding to stories that had gone viral on social media.
In a brief statement, Mr. Agyarko dismissed the stories and described them as baseless.
He affirmed his unwavering readiness to face the upcoming run-off to break the tie between him and Addai Nimo.
