A bizarre incident involving an uncle and his nephew has left residents of Sege township in Ada West District in shock.
The uncle is accused of beheading his three-year-old nephew.
The three-year-old boy was beheaded by his Uncle and found in a pool of blood.
The identity if the boy is unknown but his uncle who is accused of brutally murdering the boy has been identified as 21-year-old Obed Kabutey.
Details emerging indicate that the suspect had gone to his mother’s house around 7 pm to eat where the little boy leaves with his mother.
He left with his sister’s son to buy Indomie noodles later.
After a few hours, the parents of the little boy became concerned and went out to search for their child and Kabutey.
Kabutey was found to have killed the boy, beheaded him and left the body in the kitchen of his father’s house.
Meanwhile, the Ada West District Police office has deposited the body of the deceased boy at the Catholic Hospital Mortuary at Anyaman in the Ada West District Assembly.
Kabutey has been arrested and is in the custody of the police.
