Dr. George Akuffo Dampare, the Inspector General of Police, has denied any involvement in plotting a secret recording with former NPP Northern Regional Chairman Daniel Bugri Naabu, a matter that has gained significant public attention recently.
The Ghanaian Police General (IGP) refuted allegations of being involved in a conspiracy to secretly record conversations of three implicated officers, COP Alex Mensah, Superintendent George Asare, and Superintendent Emmanuel Eric Gyebi, and Bugri Naabu, at a Parliamentary Committee hearing.
He emphasized his commitment to upholding the law and maintaining the integrity of the Ghana Police Service, pledging to cooperate fully in the ongoing investigation.
The Inspector-General of Police is presenting to Parliament’s committee about a leaked tape plotting his removal, citing accusations from previous witnesses that the committee believes must be addressed.
