The National Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Stephen Ntim, says Alan Kyerematen has no intention of quitting the party despite the concerns he have.
According to him, he has engaged in productive dialogues with the failed presidential aspirants.
“I have visited some of the aspirants in their homes and spoken to them, with the exception of two, and in due course, I will pay them a visit as well,” Ntim stated in an interview with Oman FM.
“I’ve also gone to Ken’s house to speak with him, Addai Nimoh’s house, Alan and Kyerematen Agyarko’s houses,” Ntim continued.
He admitted that the failed aspirants he visited have concerns but they have not expressed interest in leaving the party.
“They raised some concerns but I believe that because I, as National Chairman, took the initiative to visit them in their homes and speak to them, they are a little better, but they can’t be completely fine.”
“I went to Alan’s house to speak with him, and he showed no signs of resentment towards the party.” Given the reasons he mentioned for boycotting the Flagbearership election, one would think he’d be upset. But there was nothing in our conversation that suggested he was holding back his wrath.”
