Former First Lady of Ghana, Theresa Kufuor has passed on at age 87.
She was the wife the wife of former President John Agyekum Kufuor, the second President of the Fourth Republic of Ghana.
She was a retired nurse and midwife.
She was born on 25 October 1935.
According to information available, she died on Sunday [October 1, 2023] at home in the Peduase area on the Aburi mountain.
Mrs. Theresa Kufuor married John Kufuor in 1962 and have been together for 61 years.
She was First Lady of Ghana for eight years from January 7, 2001 and January 6, 2009.
