Ghana’s Women’s Premier League champions, Ampem Darkoa Ladies, have been paired in Group B in the 2023/2024 upcoming CAF TotalEnergies Africa Women’s Champions League.
The competition, which will be hosted in La Cote d’Ivoire between November 5 and 19, 2023, will see eight teams on the continent compete for the ultimate trophy.
Ampem Darkoa qualified for the group stages of the CAF Women’s Champions League after beating Nigerian club Delta Queens 1-0 to win the WAFU Zone B Cup.
The Ghanaian club has been paired in Group B alongside defending champions AS FAR of Morocco, AS Mande, and Huracanes FC.
Ampem Darkoa Ladies will play their first game against AS FAR of Morocco before taking on AS Mande and Huracanes FC.
In Group A, host Atheletico FC from Ivory Coast will face Sporting Casablanca from Egypt, previous winner Mamelodi Sundown Ladies from South Africa, and JKT Queens from Tanzania.
