Ghana Premier League champions Medeama SC have left Ghana for the United States of America for their friendly game against DC United.
The Tarkwa-based side, on Saturday, October 14, 2023, will play against the American team in a club-friendly game.
Medeama SC will use the game as part of their preparation for the new season, which includes the 2023–2024 CAF Champions League.
It was earlier reported that some of the club officials were refused visas by the US Embassy in Ghana, but the club has yet to officially speak on the matter.
The club has already qualified for the group stages of the CAF Champions League, where they will play their first game against record champions Al Ahly.
