The Black Stars of Ghana have been paired in Group B of the upcoming 2023 African Cup of Nations in Ivory Coast.
The draw that was held in the Ivorian capital Abijan saw Ghana being paired in the same group with record champions Egypt.
Egypt who are record winners of the competition will be chasing for their first title since their victory in the 2010 edition after beating Ghana 1-0 in the finals in Angola.
Ghana on the other hand have ben chasing their 5th tittle on the continent since Libya 1982 having lost three finals in 1992, 2010 and 2015.
The Group B in the upcoming 2023 AFCON which will be played in 2024 are Ghana, Egypt, Cape Verde and Mozambique.
With 24 competing countries, the opening ceremony of the 2023 AFCON will be held on January 13 while the final match will be staged on February 11, 2024.
